
Duke Neurosurgery resident Alankrita Raghavan, MD, has been named the 2025 Snyderman Award winner for her project, “The Surgical Coaching Program: Developing a One-on-One Technical Curriculum for Junior Neurosurgical Residents.”
Awarded by the Institutional Committee for Graduate Medical Education, the Ralph Snyderman, MD, GME Research Award recognizes excellence in graduate medical research.
“Dr. Raghavan has identified a gap in the education of residents and developed a curriculum to address this need,” said Steven Cook, MD, Director of the Duke Neurosurgery Residency Program. “Her passion for teaching surgical skills and dedication to development of the surgical coaching program has allowed our residents to gain skills and knowledge while working alongside faculty that will allow for sustained benefit to both the residents and the residency program. We are looking forward to the continuation of this program as it becomes an integral part of training with Duke Neurosurgery.”
