Ostrom among Highly Cited Researchers for the sixth year

Duke Neurosurgery faculty member Quinn Ostrom, PhD, is featured on the Clarivate list of Highly Cited Researchers for the sixth time since 2020.

The annual list names researchers who have multiple publications ranked in the top 1% by citation in their fields and are further selected for exemplifying excellence and integrity in their work.

Ostrom has made the list in the field of “Neuroscience and Behavior” every year since 2021. In 2020, she was ranked in the field of “Cross-Field” which highlights interdisciplinarity and collaboration.

Ostrom is a cancer epidemiologist with specialized training in genetic epidemiology. Her goal is to identify genetic factors that increase the risk of developing a brain tumor, as well as those that affect prognosis after diagnosis.

A total of 31 Duke scholars made the 2025 list of Highly Cited Researchers. See the list and learn more here.
