Komisarow Named Vice Chair for Clinical Operations

Jordan Komisarow, MD, assistant professor, has been named Vice Chair for Clinical Operations in the Department of Neurosurgery. In this pivotal leadership position, Dr. Komisarow oversees all aspects of  clinical operations, driving the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

in this role, Dr. Komisarow collaborates  with department faculty, perioperative service leads, SPD, trauma services, inpatient nursing, neuro ICU, and health system administrators daily to align the department's clinical practices with the institution’s strategic goals and regulatory standards. His responsibilities span inpatient and outpatient operations across the health system. He will partner closely with  Oren Gottfried, MD, Vice Chair for Quality, and Keisha Hollis,  strategic services associate, and share their collective expertise to help optimize patient outcomes and elevate patient experience.
