Mehta Named a CNS Fellow

Vikram Mehta, MD, MPH, fourth-year resident at Duke Neurosurgery, has been accepted into the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Resident Fellows Program for a two-year term.

The program enables neurosurgeons-in-training to participate in CNS governance from the ground level, with an extensive array of volunteer opportunities. Residents serving as CNS Resident Fellows engage fully in the CNS leadership structure, are exposed to committee processes, and gain a deeper understanding of all roles in the organization.

Mehta was also recently named a Feagin Leadership Fellow at Duke University. His research interests include tumor resection and outcomes research following spinal surgery, and he has co-authored several book chapters and publications in high-impact journals.
