Here's the significance of each of the colors of the
Brain and Spine Metastasis Awareness ribbon

About the Brain and Spine Metastasis Awareness Month ribbon
Gray represents brain tumor awareness, as well as the gray matter of the central nervous system
White represents the white matter of the central nervous system. 
Lavender represents awareness of all types of cancers. Almost any cancer can spread to the brain and spine.
The thin gray line around the edge represents the leptomeninges, the thin membrane surrounding the brain. Leptomeningeal disease is a form of brain metastasis.
The stripe pattern in the middle represents the spine, as well as the junction of gray and white matter.
