Amanda Jenson, MD, has joined the faculty of the Duke Department of Neurosurgery in the Pediatric Neurosurgery Division.
Dr. Jenson is a pediatric neurosurgeon whose clinical practice focuses on brain and spinal cord tumors, tethered cord, spinal dysraphism, hydrocephalus, chiari malformation, craniosynostosis, and epilepsy.
She received her MD degree from Texas Tech University Paul L Foster School of Medicine and completed her residency as well as an enfolded skull base fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. She completed a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Her main research interests include brain tumors research/clinical trials and quality improvements in pediatric neurosurgical patient care.
